A curtain cord, or curtain wire, is a tool used to hang curtains, typically above windows but also in other spaces where curtains are needed. In bathrooms, curtain cords are often telescopic and self-fixing, while in other areas of the home, they are typically mounted with decorative brackets or finials. For bay windows, curtain poles are either custom-made to fit the window's shape or assembled by connecting straight poles with corner bends.
